1. What is this website and how do I use it?
We are glad you asked. Ok, lets say you have just been scammed by acme web design. You paid them $500 and they stopped answering your emails and dropped off the face of the planet. You want to let others know about these scammers! This is where scammed.us comes in. You sign up and file a report. You create a title for your report then for the subdomain you would enter acmewebdesign. You would then give a full detailed report about what happened. When you hit submit your report is posted. The subdomain acmewebdesign.scammed.us is created. Get it? Acme Web Design, Scammed Us. Genius isn't it. It's also great cause now the scammer will have there name or company name as a subdomain which will show up nicely in the search eninges!
2. What this website is not!!
Scammed.us is not a place to post about people that you hate or just want to lash out at. In order for scammed.us to be successful reports must be filed honestly! We will do our best to make sure that all reports filed are legit and will give the other side a chance to make a rebuttal if they wish. All junk reports will be deleted and submitting IP addresses will be recorded.
3. I've been scammed now what?
Always look to your State/Country law enforcement to see what can be done. We could tell you a million things to do but, your own law is going to be what helps you in the end.
